a change in the everyday routine? If you answered yes to any of

winter) next door to Yellowstone National Park as an employee.
What
is West Yellowstone like?
West Yellowstone is the gateway community located adjacent to the
West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It retains the character
of a small Montana town with a year-round population of approxmately.
1,000 people. With 1.5 million visitors a year, West Yellowstone
has many of the amenities you would expect in a much larger community.
There are over 1,000 hotel rooms, many restaurants and cafes, two
grocery stores, playhouse theater, movie theater, IMAX
theater, museum, public library, post office, and a public health
clinic. Cable and internet service are readily available. West Yellowstone
is approxmately 100 miles from both Bozeman, Montana to the north
and Idaho Falls, Idaho to the south.
Is there
an age requirement?
Our minimum age for employees is 18 years of age upon arrival. Most
of our employees are retirees in their fifties and sixties.
What
is the starting pay for new employees?
The pay scale for most entry-level positions begins at $7.10 per
hour. The payrate for specialized positions is determined by the
responsibility involved.
Where
do employees live?
We offer a choice of accommodations for employees. Most employees
live in town, at either the Buffalo Jump Lodge, which is owned by
Ventures West Inc., or for those employees with RVs, at the various
RV parks, that are owned by Ventures West Inc. There is a nominal
charge for housing.
Is Experience
Necessary?
Naturally, experience is important, but is not a requirement for
most positions. We pride ourselves on the quality of our employees
and our primary concern is that they have initiative, a willingness
to learn, are dependable and possess a pleasant, cooperative personality.
Excellent customer service is paramount at Ventures West. We are
looking for eager and enthusiastic applicants who can adapt to new
and different situations and will not be afraid to assist in whatever
job is asked of them.
